Bryan is the creator of Power Yoga and world-wide known for his authentic and powerful style of teaching yoga. Although Power Yoga has now become a generic term usually used to describe a vigorous yoga class, Bryan’s Power Yoga has much more depth and nuance. This depth and nuance come from 40 years of experience. As many of you already know, a retreat with Bryan is always a unique experience that makes you want to come back every year.

In July 2024, Bryan returned to Italy for his retreat. Sardinia impressed not only with its crystal
clear and pristine waters, but also with its culinary traditions. (…) Together we discovered its
secrets and practiced yoga on this beautiful, unique island.
On most days, two yoga classes were offered to relax
and stimulate. The classes were open to all levels
and always ended with a meditation. At Bryan’s
Power Yoga we found different types of classes, from
gentle to intense, from yin to restorative classes.
Bryan’s definition of power was not only in the
masculine qualities of strength (yang), but also in the
feminine qualities of gentleness (yin), and true
health came from a proper balance.A lovely start to
the day was Bryan’s popular silent morning walks.
This time we either explored the hills together, which
were close to the sea and easy to reach, or we
walked along the turquoise Mediterranean coast,
which was only a 5-minute walk away.
The hotel also offered a colorful garden area,
a tennis court, a basketball court and a bocce
court. The pool area and a Jacuzzi offered us
a total relaxation experience with a
panoramic view of the Gulf of Cannigione.
Various types of body massages could be
arranged at our request. If we wanted to
explore more and meet the jet set of the
hippest place in Sardinia: Porto Cervo’s
superyacht marina, stunning white sandy
beaches and chic boutiques were only a 15-
minute drive away!
Designed as a small and charming village, the hotel consists of a central nucleus and other buildings designed as annexes overlooking the central square, the large pool, or the park. The hotel offers an ambiance of serenity, peace, and stunning sunsets. The rooms are decorated in typical warm Sardinian colours and decors, detailed in style and most of them either with pool or sea view. The deluxe rooms offer a coffee machine as well as a tea maker with a Damman tea choice.
Waking up with or after the sunrise and an optional morning walk you will enjoy a healthy breakfast followed by an inspiring yoga session. Some of us might want to jump directly into the pool afterwards. A delicious lunch with antipasti, various pasta and more Italian specialities from our chef awaits you and in the afternoon you’ll have time to relax by the pool, the Jacuzzi or enjoy a massage.
Maybe you want to play tennis or explore the different beautiful beaches nearby. In the late afternoon let’s get ready for the second Yoga session, which could be the special “LSD”, long-slow and deep class or “The wall”. After a shower you will have a fantastic dinner on the terrace with sea view. In the evenings we simply enjoy the group energy, the laughter and deep conversations. And if you have the wish to go dancing, feel free to explore the nightlife of Porto Cervo and dance through the night.
